Do you have enough credits for the past renewal period?  Check out our 2013/2014 Education Cheat Sheet and find out if you have enough Continuing Education hours.

Question 1: Can you tell me the Continuing Education Requirements?

You are required to complete 21 hours of CE by April 30, 2014. The requirements are available on our website, under the tab EDUCATION and from the drop down menu select Continuing Education> CE on site and then select 2012-2014 Continuing Education Requirements or click here »

Question 2: I attended a class at NCCBOR. How Do I Know What Module I took and how many credits I received?

On the certificate you received at the end of class, it will state the class Module and the number of credits you received. For our members, it will also be in your member profile. Please go to www.nccbor.com and log in using your member ID and password and under your Quick Links select Your Education Information.

Question 3: I think I took 2 of the same Module, what do I do?

You are required to take one 3 hour CE class from each Module. If you took two of the same Module, please contact the Delaware Real Estate Commission at 302-744-4500. You may be able to submit: Student Request for Approval of Continuing Education Activity

Question 4: I took other classes, why aren't they showing up in my record?

The IMS system only tracks the classes that you have taken through the NCCBOR. If you have attended courses offered by other providers, the information will not be available in the IMS system, nor will the NCCBOR be able to provide any information about that course. You should contact the provider who offered to course.

Question 5: Where can I find the CE classes you are offering and are any available online?

You can do a quick view of classes we are offering by viewing our calendar which is on our website www.nccbor.com and select the EVENTS tab > NCCBOR Calendar. You may also take Modules 2, 3, 6 and 7 on-line classes through our Education partner, The CE Shop Please visit www.nccbor.com & select the EDUCATION tab > Continuing Education > CE on-line for all the specifics there is sometimes a monthly coupon for discounts too!

Question 6: How Do I register for classes & how do I view classes I am registered for?

Please complete these steps in order to register for a class from the IMS system
1. Log on to www.nccbor.com using your Member ID and Password
2. Under the Quick Links section select Register for Classes By Month
3. Then click on the class you wish to register for and click on the Proceed to Registration link
4. Then select Add to Cart and click on the Pay by Credit Card link
5. Enter the credit card information and Click the Submit button
6. Then click on the Register Now button to complete the registration process.
7. An e-mail confirming registration will be sent or you can print your confirmation at the time registration is complete.
8. If you find you have selected the wrong class just click the Empty Cart button before you click on the Pay by Credit Card link and go back to step 3.

Please complete these steps in order to confirm registration for a class from the IMS system
1. Log on to www.nccbor.com using your Member ID and Password
2. Under the Quick Links section select Your Education Information
3. Then click on the Classes You Are Registered For link to view classes you are currently registered for.

Question 7: How do I cancel from a class?

Please complete these steps in order to cancel from a class via the IMS system.
1. Log on to www.nccbor.com using your Member ID and Password
2. Under the Quick Links section select Your Education Information
3. Then select the Classes You Are Registered For link
4. Click the Blue Registration Cancellation link beneath the course that you wish to withdraw from.
Your credit card will be credited and you will receive an e-mail confirming the cancellation.

Question 8: IMS shows that a class is FULL, can I be placed on a waiting list?

NCCBOR does not keep a waiting list for classes. We recommend that you check the IMS system frequently, since cancellations are processed online.

Question 9: How do I confirm that I am registered for a class?

Please complete these steps in order to confirm what classes you are registered for:
1. Log on to www.nccbor.com
2. Select Your Education Information under Personal Services  
3. Select the Classes you are registered for

You will see a list of all the classes that you are registered for with NCCBOR.

Question 10: Can I carry over credits to the new renewal licensing year?

No. If you take more than 21 continuing education hours, you cannot carry credits over to the next renewal.
