2026 Awards Ceremony & Brunch

On April 14, 2026, the New Castle County Board of REALTORS® proudly hosted our Annual Awards Brunch at Riverfront Events in Wilmington, DE, and what a celebration it was.
From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the room was filled with energy, excitement, and community spirit. With a sold-out crowd and not an empty chair in sight, members and guests gathered to recognize the outstanding achievements of their peers while enjoying a beautifully set space and stunning waterfront views, including a lively outdoor patio that became a hub for conversation and celebration throughout the afternoon.
Guests were treated to an incredible brunch spread, featuring favorites like chicken and waffles, fresh salads, eggs, ham, pasta selections, vegetables, and a crowd-favorite donut bar, along with a full bar to complement the experience.
A Meaningful Awards Ceremony
The ceremony began with opening remarks from 2026 President-Elect Monica Hill, who welcomed attendees and set the tone for a meaningful afternoon. She then introduced our 2026 Hall of Fame inductees:

- Donna Bond
- Bayard Williams
- Gina McCollum-Crowder
- Brian Pomije
- Carmela Barletto
Each inductee took the stage to share heartfelt and inspiring remarks, reflecting on their journeys and contributions to the industry.
The awards presentations that followed highlighted the strength and dedication of our members:
- REALTOR® Spirit Award presented by Cristina Tlaseca to Lakeisha Cunningham
- Good Neighbor Award presented by Carmela Barletto to Carolyn Stanley
- Affiliate of the Year presented by Mary Ann Cronin (WSFS) to Josh Wheeler
- Educator of the Year presented by Scott Deputy to Barbara Brodoway (accepted on her behalf as she was teaching - true to her award!)
- Mel Stout Ethics Award presented by Dave Watlington to Jacki Ogden (accepted on her behalf, with remarks shared in her absence)
The ceremony concluded with one of the most anticipated honors of the afternoon. 2026 President Andrea Harrington introduced the 2026 REALTOR® of the Year, Diane Salvatore. As Immediate Past President and a respected leader within NCCBOR, Diane shared thoughtful and inspiring words, reflecting on her journey and expressing gratitude to the community.
All award recipients were honored with trophies, and Diane was also presented with flowers in recognition of her achievement.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued as attendees mingled, took photos, and enjoyed the beautiful spring weather out on the patio. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of connection; truly a reflection of the strength of our REALTOR® community.
