The New Castle County Board of REALTORS® (NCCBOR) is proud to announce the promotion of Susan “Sue” Slachta from Finance Director to Chief Operating Officer.
In her new role, Sue will help lead NCCBOR’s day-to-day operations while continuing to support the Board’s financial strength, organizational efficiency, and long-term goals. Her promotion reflects the dedication, leadership, and thoughtful approach she brings to her work each day.
Throughout her time with NCCBOR, Sue has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the Board, its members, and her colleagues. Known for her exceptional work ethic and attention to detail, she is always looking for ways to strengthen internal processes, improve operations, and help the organization work more effectively.
Sue is also a valued and dependable member of the NCCBOR team. Whether she is managing complex financial responsibilities, helping solve an operational challenge, or stepping in to support a coworker, she approaches each task with professionalism, patience, and a genuine willingness to help.
Her colleagues were quick to celebrate the announcement, sharing how well deserved the promotion is and recognizing the important role Sue plays within the organization. Her collaborative spirit and steady leadership have made a meaningful impact across every department.

As Chief Operating Officer, Sue will continue working closely with NCCBOR leadership and staff to support the Board’s strategic priorities, strengthen its operations, and ensure the organization remains well positioned to serve its members and the New Castle County real estate community.
