Celebrating Excellence in 2025
Each year, NCCBOR proudly recognizes members who exemplify professionalism, leadership, service, and dedication to the real estate industry and our community. Our award recipients are nominated by fellow members and carefully reviewed through an established selection process. Winners are chosen by their peers — a distinction that reflects not only achievement, but respect within our REALTOR® community.
These awards are presented annually at our Awards Brunch, where we gather to celebrate those who go above and beyond in service to the profession and to New Castle County.

Below, we proudly highlight this year’s recipients and the impact they have made on our association and community.
REALTOR® of the Year
Recognizes a REALTOR® who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, service to the Board, professional achievement, civic involvement, and commitment to the REALTOR® spirit. The recipient is also eligible for consideration at the state level.
Affiliate of the Year
Recognizes an affiliate member who has made outstanding contributions to NCCBOR and strengthened the partnership between REALTORS® and Affiliates.
Mel Stout Ethics Award
Honors a current or past REALTOR® member who exemplifies the ideals and principles outlined in the REALTOR® Code of Ethics.
Educator of the Year
Presented to an individual who demonstrates exceptional expertise and impact in real estate education.
Good Neighbor Award
Celebrates members who dedicate time and resources to humanitarian or community service efforts beyond their professional responsibilities.
Winners of this award are automatically nominated for the Delaware Association of REALTORS Good Neighbor Award.
REALTOR® Spirit Award
Awarded to a member who embodies integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to advancing the image and values of REALTORS®.
NCCBOR Hall of Fame
Recognizes long-standing service and meritorious contributions to NCCBOR and the real estate industry over an extended period of time.
