What is the difference between a Primary and Secondary Affiliate?
A Primary Affiliate is the main representative responsible for establishing and maintaining the company’s NCCBOR affiliate membership. A Secondary Affiliate is any additional employee or representative who joins under that existing company membership.
What is included in my Affiliate membership?
Affiliate membership includes access to networking opportunities, Affiliate Council participation, eligible association events, NCCBOR communications, promotional opportunities, committees, and member sponsorship opportunities.
Does every company need a Primary Affiliate?
Yes. The Primary Affiliate serves as the main membership contact for the company. Additional employees or representatives may then join as Secondary Affiliates.
Can Affiliate members sponsor NCCBOR events?
Yes. Affiliate members may receive access to event and program sponsorship opportunities throughout the year, subject to availability and NCCBOR sponsorship guidelines.
Can a company have more than one Secondary Affiliate?
Yes. A company may add multiple Secondary Affiliates under its existing Primary Affiliate membership, with applicable dues charged for each additional member.
Is SentriLock included in Affiliate dues?
No. SentriLock is an additional service and fee for eligible Affiliate members who require access. It is not automatically included in the standard Affiliate membership dues.
What payment methods are accepted?
Members may pay through the secure online invoice portal using a credit or debit card. Checks made payable to the New Castle County Board of REALTORS may also be dropped off to the NCCBOR office.
