Summer Social Recap: Great Company & Plenty of Summer Fun
NCCBOR members kicked off the season with an afternoon of networking, games, and good company at our Summer Social on June 11 at Wilmington Brew Works North.
The event offered the perfect opportunity for members to step away from their desks, enjoy a more relaxed setting, and connect with fellow real estate professionals from across New Castle County. From longtime colleagues catching up to new introductions being made, the afternoon was filled with conversation, laughter, and the kind of connections that make our REALTOR® community so special.
Guests enjoyed drinks, light bites, and plenty of opportunities for a little friendly competition. Cornhole, darts, pool, and pinball gave everyone something to do between conversations, while the mini cornhole tournament quickly brought out the competitive side of our attendees. Whether members were playing to win or simply cheering from the sidelines, the games helped keep the energy high throughout the event.
Of course, the Summer Social was about more than just enjoying an afternoon away from the office. Events like this give members a chance to strengthen professional relationships in a setting that feels easy and natural. A conversation over a drink or a competitive round of cornhole can often lead to a new referral partner, a future collaboration, or simply a stronger connection within the local real estate community.
The event also included a raffle benefiting the Sunday Breakfast Mission Back-to-School Rally. Thanks to the generosity of our attendees, the afternoon became an opportunity to support local students and families while enjoying time together. We are always proud to see our members show up not only for one another, but also for the broader New Castle County community.
One of the best parts of the Summer Social was seeing such a wide range of members come together. REALTORS®, affiliates, brokers, and industry professionals were all able to enjoy the afternoon side by side. It was a great reminder that NCCBOR is more than meetings, continuing education, and industry updates. It is also a community built around relationships, shared experiences, and a genuine commitment to supporting one another.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success. Your participation, enthusiasm, and willingness to get involved are what make NCCBOR events memorable.
We hope everyone left with a few new connections, a few good stories, and maybe even a little more confidence in their cornhole skills. We loved spending the afternoon with you and look forward to many more opportunities to connect, celebrate, and enjoy the summer together.
